From Drakes, it’s only a 20-minute drive further to the Point Reyes Lighthouse. Look for the path that leads up to the Peter Behr Overlook for views over the bay. There’s a parking lot and visitor’s center on-site and, unlike other nearby beaches (which require some sort of schlep), Drakes allows cars to drive right up to the sand. It’s also the most accessible beach in Point Reyes.
